This camp will take place in Leuven (Belgium) from the 25th to the 30th of May 2025.
We have 25 hours of technique and 15 hours of open mat during the week, spread over 6 days. All no-gi classes.
All experience levels and affiliations are welcome.
THE CAMP
The Modern Leglock Camp will dive into the latest developments in the leglock game. We'll explore techniques like the straight ankle lock, Aoki lock, and how to seamlessly integrate them into your heel hook system, and vice versa. You'll also learn about newly developed positions such as the Z-lock and Double 50, along with key updates to established leglock positions.

Eoghan o'Flanagan
Eoghan is most known globally for having competed and coming 4th in the world in the biggest grappling show of all time, ADCC 2022. He had a “breakout performance” and was touted as an “ADCC standout competitor”, which marked him as the best-performing English male competitor of all time.
In 2017, at the age of 22, he was awarded his black belt by the highly respected Helio Soneca. Eoghan is widely known for his submission oriented style and being one of the best leglockers in the game.

Jon Calestine
Jon Calestine is a jiu-jitsu black belt under Daisuke Yamaji of the Renzo Gracie Fight Academy, having also worked extensively with Tony B, Eddie Cummings, and John Danaher.
Widely regarded as one of the top 145 pound grapplers of his generation in the submission only professional grappling circuit, Calestine is best known for his wins at the Eddie Bravo Invitational, Onnit Invitational, Sapateiro Invitational, and Finishers Sub-Only.
Leuven is a small city, so you can do everything on foot. Parking however is expensive, so if possible, leave your car at home.
All camp sessions will be filmed, and participants will receive exclusive access to the recordings. This ensures you can revisit the high-level instruction at your own pace and incorporate every detail into your game.
LOCATION
Leuven has long been a prosperous city, thanks to its role as a medieval trading hub and the presence of its world-renowned university, founded in 1425. This rich history is reflected in its stunning architecture. The city is also home to one of the largest breweries in the world, and beer has always been deeply woven into Leuven’s culture. Add to that a lively student population, and you get a vibrant city where there’s something happening every night.
TRAINING CENTRE
The Sportoase is a large, modern sports complex offering a wide range of facilities, including a fitness center, climbing wall, skate park, swimming pool, and sauna.
Please note that most of these areas require an entrance fee, with the exception of the skate park, which is free to use.
At the entrance, you'll find a cozy pub where you can grab a drink or a bite to eat. The training space is impressive—about 300 m² of mat area—along with plenty of changing rooms and showers to comfortably accommodate everyone.
Address: Philipssite 6, 3001 Leuven (Belgium)
If you are looking for accomdation during the camp, we can recommend Condo Gardens in Leuven. It's clean, quiet, affordable, and close to the training venue. Prices for one week range from €285 to €530.
